Changchun is the provincial capital of Jilin Province, a new automobile industry city and an art city. It has become the important transportation, the communication vital point and the merchandise commercial center in the northeast region currently.

External traffic

Aviation
The Dafangshen Airport of Changchun is away 11 kilometers from the west area of the city. There are some air services to some big or secondary cities such as Beijing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and so on. There are also international air services to Hong Kong, Korean Seoul, Russian Fuladiwosituoke etc.

Railway
The station of Changchun that locates the north of the downtown, the northernmost of the People Street which was called the Stalin Street is the third passenger transportation station in the northeast region. The Jingha railroad, the Changbai railroad and the Changtu railroad cross there and the crossing looks like a big cross. You can get to more than ten big or secondary cities by train. Bus
